This plate was used as an inspection plate to view the valves and inner workings of the Austrian made Daimler 6 Series engine. The plate appears to be made of cast aluminum and was removed from the aircraft by means of force, confirmed by the stripped threading in the 4 bolt holes. The Austro Daimler 6 was a series of
